Myself and Mat travelled down to meet his family. We arrived in Burton late on the Thursday night. Fred picked us up from the train station then we went for a drink, ended up out in Burton the first night in the middle of a bar room brawl- crawling (seriously) to get out of the way.Lovely introduction to the area! In the morning we went golfing on the local 9 holer, that was good fun and although Mat had never really played hit a few really good shots. We went out in Derby on the second evening.Met John B for the first time, later we went to a nightclub were i proceeded to get lucky on the dance floor. Mat and john thought I was sorted so left me alone after leaving the club, however i was slightly apprehensive about thinngs and ended up eating a kebab all on my own in Derby. Thats when,out of the blue-some wee s*@tbag came over to me and smacked me on the face. No provocation at all. I wasnt bothered about being punched but i droppedme Kebab!!!!gutted!! I proceded to make a beeline to get out of there. Having only about £5 to my name i askes a taxi driver if he could take me back to Repton which, on looking at my face agreed to quickly. So i gets back to Repton with poor Fred answering the door and John Bower laughing at my misfortune. He took a photo of me, Mat still has it in his photo album he still pee's himself when he looks at it.
