Mathew James Rule 31/10/1977 to 13/01/2009
"Linked through lengths and breadths of time what will survive of us is love".
On 31st October 2009 at Repton Cemetary Mathew's ashes were buried.
We have set up this website for Mathew's friends and family to record happy thoughts and memories of him and and hopefully lots of photo's so that Connor can share them with us.
Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to come to the funeral. I think Mathew would have been very happy to see so many of his friends and family coming together to say goodbye to him. A special thank you also to Chris, Paul, Craig and Connor for their words and poems.

Thoughts
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then shall you begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

You can shed tears because he is gone, or you can smile because he lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
You can remember him and only that he is gone or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
